Intent data for developer tools
Someone is asking for your tool right now.
Threads on Reddit, Hacker News and the open web where someone is asking for what you sell — each scored 1–100 for buying intent, each with a draft reply you review and post yourself. Scanned every morning.

Looking for an Auth0 alternative for a two-person SaaS
We are paying $240/mo for about 900 MAU and use maybe three features. Magic links and GitHub OAuth are all we need.
matched: "auth0 alternative"
Draft reply — review before posting
At ~900 MAU with only magic links and GitHub OAuth, you are paying for a lot you do not use. Check whether per-MAU pricing or a flat self-hosted option fits your growth curve better, and whether SSO can wait until a customer asks for it. Happy to share the tradeoffs I hit.

auth0 alternative, so a keyword alert sends you all three. The radar scores who is writing and why — a listicle and a launch post use the same words as a buyer — and keeps only what reaches 60.Results scored

03How it works
Three inputs. No keyword list.
- 01
Describe what you sell
A project is your product, your competitors, and who you sell to. Those three inputs are what generate every search query — there is no keyword list to maintain.
- 02
The radar scores what it finds
It searches Reddit, Hacker News and the open web for relevant posts, scores each one 1–100 on how likely the author is to buy, and keeps only those above the threshold. Most of what it reads is dropped — a listicle or a launch announcement scores poorly even when it contains every buying keyword.
- 03
You reply, or an agent does
Drafts are grounded in the post and written to be reviewed, never posted for you. The same signals are available over REST and MCP if you would rather automate it.
Prefer to run the searches yourself? Read the manual workflow.
04The daily workflow
Minutes, not hours.
Without the radar
- 01Search Reddit, Hacker News and the web by hand, one query at a time
- 02Read every keyword match — most of it is listicles and launch posts
- 03Draft each reply from scratch, with the thread open in another tab
~90 : 1 · ~270 results read per search, ~3 kept worth a reply
With LaunchEngine
- 01Open one feed — every post already scored 1–100 for buying intent
- 02Review only what cleared the threshold; the rest is filtered out
- 03Edit a draft grounded in the post, then post it yourself
~9 seconds · reply while the thread is fresh
Median across four niches, measured 2026-09-24. The left-hand count is every result the radar was handed, not only the posts a person would open; kept means the post cleared the intent threshold.

06What this does not do
It never posts on your behalf.
No auto-posting.
Every draft needs a person to read it and post it.
No generic replies.
A draft is written for the specific post it answers.
No pressure to send.
You decide whether a reply is worth sending at all.
Before you connect anything
The questions worth asking before pointing a tool at your accounts.
- Will this get my Reddit account banned?
- Not by posting, because it cannot post. There is no code path that submits anything to Reddit, X or Hacker News — drafts are returned as text for you to edit and post yourself, and the API marks every draft with requires_human_post. What you do with a draft is a human decision, which is also the honest answer: automated self-promotion is what gets accounts actioned, and that is a choice we deliberately did not build.
- Do the drafts mention my product?
- No. The drafting prompt forbids naming any product, company or brand — including yours, and including the tool the poster already mentioned. A draft that names a rival sends the buyer to that rival, and one that names your product reads as an advert. Drafts describe the category or approach instead, and stay under 120 words.
- Are you reading Reddit through their API?
- By default, no. The default route finds public Reddit pages through a search index, which is the relationship of a search customer reading public pages — not a Reddit API consumer. Reddit's official API is supported but off unless you supply your own credentials, and their Responsible Builder Policy requires written approval for commercial use of their data.
- Can you see my other projects or another customer's data?
- Every read and write is scoped to one workspace by Postgres row-level security, not by application code that could forget a filter. The one exception is the count of posts scored that this page shows once it is large enough to state, which is an aggregate across all workspaces and carries no per-customer figures, no ids and no names.
