Terms of service
Last updated 25 September 2026. These terms are between you and Naman Manocha, an individual operating as LaunchEngine.dev in India (“we”, “us”, “the operator”), and govern your use of the service. By creating an account or paying for a plan, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Who you are contracting with
LaunchEngine.dev is run by an individual sole proprietor, not a registered company. That means your contract is with Naman Manocha personally. You can reach us at [email protected].
Postal address: B-103, Bhakti Park, New Sushil Nagar, Boisar (E), Palghar, Maharashtra 401501, India.
The service
LaunchEngine.dev finds public conversations where someone appears to be asking for a product like yours, scores how serious they are, and drafts a reply you review. The same data is served to AI agents over REST and MCP. You can use it through the dashboard, the API, or the MCP server — they read and write the same underlying data.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the service. It is a business tool; it is not intended for, and must not be used by, children. By using it you confirm you meet these requirements.
Your account
You must provide accurate sign-in details and keep your credentials and API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account and your workspace, including calls made by agents you connect. One person should not share a login; team members are added through workspace invitations, with roles.
Acceptable use — read this one
Drafting is assistive. A human reviews and posts every reply. You may not use the service, or an agent connected to it, to:
- post, send, or automate messages at scale — automated promotion is treated as spam by the platforms this watches, and is prohibited here;
- scrape, resell, or redistribute the scanned data as a standalone dataset, or use it to build a competing intent-signal product;
- contact the people whose public posts are surfaced, where doing so would break the rules of the platform the post came from or applicable anti-spam law;
- probe, overload, or bypass the API rate limits, credit system, or tenant isolation, or attempt to reach another workspace’s data;
- break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights.
The signals come from third-party platforms (Reddit, Hacker News, and web search). You are responsible for complying with each platform’s own terms when you act on what we surface — including any rule that requires a platform’s approval before commercial or automated use. We may suspend a workspace that breaches these rules. Where a breach is serious or deliberate, we may do so without notice.
Credits and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. A plan includes a monthly credit grant; credit packs are one-time purchases. Credits are the unit every metered action spends — an agent call such as find_intent_signals costs 1 credit, and so does a reply draft, while get_credit_balance is free. Scheduled scanning does not spend credits; it is part of the plan.
Credit packs stay valid for 12 months from purchase. Plans can be cancelled at any time from billing settings; cancelling keeps access until the end of the current period, and unused credit packs stay valid until their expiry. Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future periods with notice.
Refunds
Your first purchase of a plan or credit pack may be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of the charge, provided the credits granted by it have not been substantially used. After that window, and on renewals, payments are non-refundable — cancel before the period ends to stop the next charge. Where a payment was made in error or the service was not delivered, contact us and we will make it right regardless of the window. This is the only exception to the non-refundable rule below.
To request a refund, email [email protected] from the address on the account.
Third-party data and providers
The signals come from public sources we do not control, so we cannot promise a given source will always be reachable, or that a post will still be there when you open it. Search coverage depends on the configured provider. If you bring your own key for a provider, your use of it is also subject to that provider’s terms.
Intellectual property and your content
We own the service, its software, and the scoring and classification logic. You keep ownership of the project profiles, keywords, and other material you enter, and of the drafts generated for you. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that material only to run the service for you — for example, sending your project description to the search and drafting providers to produce results.
The public posts we surface belong to their authors, not to us or to you. We surface them as public information; you may not republish them as your own or beyond the bounds of the platforms they came from.
Copyright and takedown
We respect the rights of the authors whose public posts appear in the product. If you believe content we surface infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the URL of the content, a description of your work, and your contact details. We will review it and remove or suppress the content where warranted.
No guarantee of results
The service helps you find and respond to demand; it does not sell the demand for you. We do not warrant that any conversation it surfaces is a genuine buyer, or that replying will produce a customer. Scoring is a heuristic, and the “intent” score is our own definition of a qualified signal, not a verified fact.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available and to give notice of planned work, but it is provided on an as-is basis without an uptime guarantee. We may change or retire features. If we discontinue a paid plan you are on, we will not bill you for a period the service will not run, and unused credit packs remain refundable pro rata for that reason.
Liability and indemnity
To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to indemnify the operator against claims, losses, or costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms or of any platform’s rules — for example, a claim from a platform or a person you contacted as a result of acting on a signal. This does not apply to the extent the claim arises from our own breach.
Termination
You can stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of the acceptable-use rules, or to comply with the law. On termination your data is handled as described in the privacy policy.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; a material change is reflected in the “last updated” date and, for signed-in users, notified. These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in Palghar, Maharashtra, India. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
